Excavation & Site Work

Excavation and site work, done right

We already own and run the machines for our own septic installs, so when you need digging, grading, or site work, you are hiring an outfit that does this every week. Septic excavation, drain fields, trenching, utility lines, backfill, and basic dirt work for homes and businesses across the Metro East.

What we dig

Excavation is where the equipment we run for septic installs really earns its keep. We are not renting a machine and figuring it out on your property. We own the iron, we run it on our own jobs, and that means the capability and the proof are real. If it involves moving earth on a residential or commercial site, it is in our wheelhouse.

The work we take on

  • Septic tank excavation and digging
  • Drain field and leach field work
  • Grading and site prep for builds and additions
  • Trenching and utility or sewer line digs
  • Backfill, compaction, and demolition backfill
  • Basic dirt work and dozer work

Permitted and done to code

Excavation is higher-ticket work than a routine pump-out, and it has to be done right the first time. We pull the permits the job needs, we call before we dig, and the work gets done to code. You get the real owner on the job, not a crew you have never met, across Madison and St. Clair counties.

How it goes

What to expect

1

Call & walk it

Tell us what you need moved or built. We come look at the site so the quote is real, not a guess.

2

Permits & locates

We pull the permits the job needs and call before we dig so utilities are marked.

3

Dig & grade

We bring our own equipment and do the digging, trenching, or grading to code.

4

Backfill & clean up

We backfill, compact, and leave the site graded and tidy, not a mess for you to deal with.

Good to know

Excavation questions

Do you do excavation beyond septic work?
Yes. Septic is where we started, but we run the same equipment for grading, site prep, trenching, utility and sewer line digs, backfill, and basic dirt and dozer work. If it involves moving earth, ask us.
What size jobs do you take?
Everything from a single trench or a drain field up through full site prep and grading for a build. We will tell you honestly if a job is too big or not the right fit for us before you spend a dime.
Do you handle permits and call before you dig?
Yes. We pull the permits the work needs and we always call JULIE to locate utilities before we put a bucket in the ground. The work gets done to code, the right way.
Do you work residential and commercial?
Both. We handle homeowner projects and commercial site work across Madison and St. Clair counties, from a backyard drain field to a commercial pad and utility runs.

Have a dig or site job coming up?

Call and talk to the owner who will actually run the machine. We will walk the site and give you a real number before anything starts.
